Press Releases

The Federation of Student Islamic Societies (FOSIS) would like to wish everyone a joyous Eid Mubarak. The month of Ramadan has passed once more and we hope that Muslim Students across the UK and Ireland made the most of the blessed month and now enjoy the opportunity to celebrate Eid with family and friends.

President of FOSIS Humayun Saleem said: “We thank Allah firstly for allowing us to complete the month of Ramadan, with the hope that He has accepted all of our efforts. On behalf of the FOSIS family I would like to wish everyone Eid Mubarak, and I hope that everyone has a fantastic time”.

He also added, “Whilst this is a time for celebration, let us not forget all those who have been affected by various atrocities that have taken place across the Muslim world. More than ever it is vital that we help our brothers and sisters in need across the globe and remember them in our prayers”.

As Ramadan has come to an end FOSIS would like to invite all Muslim students to our 53rd FOSIS Annual Conference. The highlight event of the year in the Muslim student calendar will be taking place in Manchester this year, starting on the 15th of July.
